A year or two ago so-called conservationists such as Scottish Natural
Heritage and the RSPB were condemning wildlife such as hedgehogs, rare
black rats and brown rats for the decline in seabirds.

Tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of pounds of taxpayers' money was
extracted from gullible politicians for an unprecedented program of
killing wildlife to allow seabirds to recover.

It now seems the only winners were the fake conservationists who seem
to have had a nice little earner at our expense.
