I put 4xCFLs into the ceiling downlighters in the living room they are
R63 "equivalent" to replace 4x25W incandescent bulbs. Each downlighter
is rated 11W and is supposed to be "Equivalent to 60W" this is pure
unadulaterated hogwash.
They take about 5 minutes to get bright enough to see by but the state
of the living room is now permanent twilight.
